Any of various epiphytic cacti of the genus Epiphyllum or related hybrids in the family Cactaceae, native to the tropical forests of Central and South America and widely cultivated for their flattened leaf-like stems and large, showy, often fragrant funnel-shaped flowers that bloom in shades of white, pink, red, and yellow.
